Lisa Houchin
Lisa grew up in Midlothian and graduated from Midlothian High School in 1998. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University and began teaching in 2001. She has spent 10 years teaching 6th grade Math at Walnut Grove Middle School.
Her 13 years in education include teaching elementary and middle school and serving homebound high school students in Mansfield Independent School District (ISD). She has been married to Greg more than 20 years, and they have two children, Luke, who attends Oklahoma State University, and Olivia, who attends Midlothian Heritage High School.
She is a valued member of the Mentors Care team and loves serving the students at Heritage High School. She has a heart for at-risk students and is passionate about providing love, support, and guidance to students in need. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and listening to live music.
